AMS Automation, Inc. is the GE Fanuc CNC system integrator. In all retrofitting projects, we assume that the machine tool is in the working condition, include the hydraulic and pneumatic control system.
The basic retrofit package is replacing the old CNC system with a new GE Fanuc control. But normally, it may not bring the machine back to a reliable condition. So, the following options are recommended.
- Replace the servo drives and motors with GE Fanuc servo drives and motors
- Replace the spindle drive unit with a new digital DC regen drive
- Replace the spindle drive and motor with the GE Fanuc drive and motor
- Replace all limit switches, wire/cables
- Replace all power carriers and sealtight
Addition to the electrical retrofit, we can do a major Preventive Maintenance (PM), to change oil, viper, lubrication flow control units, etc.
Machine sliding ways regrinding and ballscrew/bearing replacement can be done as the retrofit/rebuild package.
